Experience

Carolin Roßkothen focuses on advising and representing national and international financial sponsors, strategic investors, companies, institutions and family offices on complex national and cross-border M&A transactions. In particular, she advises on private equity transactions, venture capital investments and joint venture projects. She also has a substantial experience in distressed M&A and advises clients on corporate law and group restructurings. She is part of Oppenhoff’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group and of Oppenhoff’s French Desk.

 

Education

Carolin Roßkothen has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2023. She started her professional career as a lawyer in the field of Corporate/M&A with a leading international law firm in Hamburg in 2016. She studied law at the University of Muenster and received her doctorate on corporate and insolvency law. In addition, she received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in business law and restructuring and worked as a trainee lawyer in the Paris office of a leading US law firm. Prior to studying law, Carolin studied international business at Northwood University in Michigan, USA.
