Jörn Kuhn is a partner at Oppenhoff, with a focus on advising companies on collective employment law matters. Primarily, he comprehensively advises and represents clients in restructuring measures and reorganisations. He has many years of experience in negotiations with unions and works councils, including arbitration proceedings and conciliation boards. A further focus of his work is assisting companies through the digital transformation and introduction of new work models. He also specialises in company pensions (bAV).
Jörn Kuhn is regularly listed by national and international publishers in law firm registers as a "leading lawyer" or "recommended advisor" (inter alia JUVE Handbook of Commercial Law Firms, Legal 500, Kanzleimonitor.de).
Jörn Kuhn heads the Employment Law practice group. He is also head of Oppenhoff's Retail and Consumer Goods sector group.
Jörn Kuhn studied law at the Universities of Rostock and Göttingen. He began his career as a lawyer in 2007. Jörn Kuhn has been a specialist lawyer for employment law since 2010. He has worked at Oppenhoff since 2008, and been a partner of the firm since 2014.
Jörn Kuhn is a member of the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein e. V. (DAV)), the Cologne Bar Association (Kölner Anwaltverein e. V. (KAV)) and the Employment Law Working Group of the German Bar Association.

KG, digitisation partner of the Sparkassen savings banks, on the negotiation of a comprehensive company collective agreement with the trade union ver.di. The collective agreements include provisions on working hours and remuneration, pension schemes and time credit accounts. The overall package also includes comprehensive transfer regulations for employees switching to the company collective agreement.
