Oppenhoff partner Dr. Nefail Berjasevic appointed Honorary Professor

Oppenhoff partner Dr. Nefail Berjasevic has been awarded the academic title of Honorary Professor by the University of Siegen. The prestigious award recognises his professional practice and, in particular, his outstanding achievements in teaching and research.

At Oppenhoff, Prof. Dr. Nefail Berjasevic advises German and foreign companies on all matters of German and European corporate law. He also specialises in restructuring and insolvency law.

At the University of Siegen, Prof. Berjasevic lectures on transformation law and mergers & acquisitions.

Prof. Dr. Nefail Berjasevic has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2013. After studying law at Phillips University Marburg and New York University (LL.M.), he obtained his doctorate in law at the University of Siegen. He then completed his Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) studies at the University of Münster with a focus on mergers & acquisitions. In addition to being admitted as a lawyer in Germany, Prof. Dr. Nefail Berjasevic has also been admitted as an attorney-at-law in the state of New York (US) since 2010.
