Oppenhoff & Partner advises Simpson Technologies on acquisition of Webac Maschinenbau
Oppenhoff & Partner has advised Simpson Technologies Group, based in Aurora, IL, USA, on its expansion into the German market and the acquisition of all shares in Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH (Euskirchen, Germany) as well as its subsidiaries Webac Maskin (AB) (Sweden) and Webac s.r.o. (Czech Republic).
Webac Maschinenbau, a subsidiary of publicly listed Webac Holding AG, specializes in process technology and customized plants for the foundry and oil & gas industries.
Simpson Technologies Corporation, founded in 1912, is a five generation family business specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative technologies and services for the worldwide metal casting and chemical process industries. Primary products include batch and continuous molding sand mixing equipment, core sand preparation systems, sand reclamation systems, sand laboratory equipment, engineering and automation systems. Simpson Technologies has further operations in Switzerland and India.
