Oppenhoff & Partner advises Kohl-Gruppe AG on the sale of its divisions Automotive, Mechanical Processing and Rail Technology to AL-KO Kober and Endurance Capital
Oppenhoff & Partner has advised the Cologne engineering and metalworking enterprise Kohl-Gruppe AG (including “Kohl & Sohn”) on the sale of its divisions Automotive (Umform- und Fügetechnik Eisenach GmbH and Stanztech Treuenbrietzen Blechformteile GmbH), Mechanical Processing and Rail Technology to a joint enterprise of AL-KO Kober SE and the Munich investor Endurance Capital AG. The transaction is subject to clearance from the cartel authorities.
The companies sold were Gerätewerk TBR Verwaltung GmbH, GTB Bahntechnik GmbH, GTMB Metallteilfertigung GmbH, Stanztech Treuenbrietzen Blechformteile GmbH and Umform- und Fügetechnik Eisenach GmbH along with various assets (including two properties).
The Kohl Group, which has about 1,000 employees, generated group turnover of ca. 175 million euros in 2016.
