Oppenhoff & Partner advises Finatem on the sale of Schollenberger Group

Oppenhoff & Partner advised private equity house Finatem on the sale of Schollenberger to the French Socotec Group. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

With about 400 employees at its headquarters in Celle and at eight further sites, Schollenberger is the market leader in civil explosive ordnance detection services in Germany and Austria. In 2016 the group was acquired from Celler Brunnenbau Group by Finatem and the management. Socotec is a leading service provider in the field of testing, inspection and certification (TIC) for construction and infrastructure projects.

Oppenhoff partner Dr. Gabriele Fontane has advised Finatem for many years, including most recently on the acquisition and sale of Techno-Physik Group, the acquisition of HKM Sports Equipment and on the acquisition of Schollenberger in 2016.
