Oppenhoff & Partner advises Beta Systems Software AG on the acquisition of LYNET Kommunikation AG
Oppenhoff has advised Beta Systems Software AG (Berlin) during its acquisition of all shares in LYNET Kommunikation AG (Lübeck) from the company’s founders.
The listed company, Beta Systems Software (BSS), was founded in 1983 and is one of the leading medium-sized, independent software providers in Europe. The enterprise has about 300 employees in 18 own group companies and is active both nationally and internationally. With its software products and IT solutions, Beta Systems Software assists customers with extensive IT system landscapes and complex IT processes, predominantly in the areas financial services, production, trade and IT services.
LYNET Kommunikation’s focus lies in software development, web agency services IT advice and provider-like services (primarily in an e-commerce environment). Its broad customer portfolio in North Germany encompasses small and medium-sized enterprises as well as public and social institutions.
LYNET Kommunikation AG will operate in future as an independent enterprise within the Beta Systems Group. The founders and former directors Matthias Lohmann and Dr. Henning Hach are remaining with the enterprise in their present positions.
