Oppenhoff has advised on the sale of the Sunovis Group to Brookfield
Oppenhoff has advised the founders and shareholders of the Sunovis Group on the sale of the enterprise to the asset manager Brookfield. The sale took place within the framework of a competitive bidding procedure set up by Lazard. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sunovis, which is based in Singen, has successfully developed more than 30 solar projects in Germany and other European countries and has a current development pipeline of approximately 1.7 GWp of solar projects, approximately 600 MWp of which are in advanced and mid-stage development. Sunovis' current management team will continue to lead the company.
Brookfield is a global asset manager and one of the world's largest operators of wind turbines and solar power systems with a global network and expertise in the operation and development of renewable energies.
