Oppenhoff advises SnowWorld on the acquisition of Snow Dome Bispingen
Oppenhoff has comprehensively advised SnowWorld on the acquisition of the Ski Dome in Bispingen. The Snow Dome Bispingen, located south of Hamburg, is thus the group's second location in Germany, alongside Alpenpark Neuss, and will be renamed SnowWorld Bispingen. The facility features a 300-meter-long slope, a chairlift, as well as a comprehensive range of restaurants, conference rooms, a hotel, and a log cabin park. One of the previous operators of the Snow Dome Bispingen, a ski lift company from the Austrian ski resort Sölden, will remain on board as a shareholder.
With this new addition, SnowWorld now operates nine indoor ski slopes in four countries, and is thus further establishing itself as a leading European provider of year-round winter sports.
Oppenhoff had previously advised SnowWorld on the complete takeover of Alpenpark Neuss.
SnowWorld is part of the Alychlo Group, founded by Marc Coucke, and is a leading provider of indoor ski and leisure facilities and offers first-class ski facilities and associated catering and accommodation. Through continuous growth in recent years, the group has strengthened its position as one of the largest providers of indoor ski and leisure facilities in Europe.
The Oppenhoff team, led by Myriam Baars-Schilling, included Sebastian Gutmann, Dr. Maike Mestmäcker, Julian Spruytenburg (all Corporate/M&A), Dr. Gunnar Knorr, Martin Brandenburger-Nonnast (both Tax), Alexandra Groth, Roman Braun, Marko Vraetz (all Employment), Marvin Rochner, Julia Höyng (both Real Estate), Dr. Hanna Schmidt (Commercial), Dr. Patric Mau (IP), and Dr. Wolfgang Kotzur (Finance).
Oppenhoff has been advising national and international companies on transactions and corporate law matters for decades. The M&A team, which has received numerous awards in industry handbooks, recently advised Saint-Gobain on the sale of FREEGLASS, the Wilms Group on the sale of Südkabel, and the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB on the acquisition of Go-Ahead Deutschland.
