Oppenhoff advises shareholders on takeover of Sassa Mode by HVEG Fashion Group

Oppenhoff has comprehensively advised the shareholders of the family-owned company Sassa Mode Group on the complete takeover by the Dutch HVEG Fashion Group. Following the takeover, the combined turnover in 2024 will amount to around 160 million euros. Sassa Mode will continue to expand as an independent business unit. 

Sassa Mode was founded in 1989 and employs around 80 people. The company, based in Bad Urach in Baden-Württemberg and with subsidiaries in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hong Kong, specialises in the development, sourcing and distribution of women's underwear and lingerie. 

HVEG is a group of internationally operating fashion companies specialising in the development, sourcing and sale of private label fashion for women, men, children, babies as well as eyewear and accessories. HVEG is also involved in various brand activities.

The Oppenhoff team, led by Till Liebau, also included Lisa Zimmermann (both M&A/private equity), Anja Dombrowsky and Lisa Striegler (both employment law).
