Oppenhoff advises Schoofs Immobilien on portfolio development of eleven specialist stores with Greenman

Oppenhoff has advised Schoofs Immobilien GmbH Frankfurt on a portfolio development with the investment fund manager Greenman and its fund Greenman OPEN. The portfolio comprises eleven specialist stores or mixed-use properties and has a volume of 215 million euros. It is to be realised by 2025.

The main users of the mixed-use properties will be the grocery retailers Edeka, REWE, ALDI Süd and tegut. More than 200 rental apartments will also be realised, as well as supplementary retail and service uses. The eleven properties are spread across the German states of Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Saxony.

Schoofs Immobilien, which is based in Neu-Isenburg, specialises in the planning and development of properties for the food retail sector. Its portfolio also includes residential and commercial buildings, quarters, mixed-use properties, specialist stores, and DIY and home improvement stores. Since the late 1980s, the company has developed and built around 420 projects.

Greenman Investments is a market-leading, sector-specific real estate fund manager. The funds invest exclusively in specialist food stores and warehouses in Germany.

The Oppenhoff team led by Dr. Gregor Seikel (Corporate, Real Estate) and Dr. Stefanie Minzenmay (Real Estate) included Dr. Günter Seulen (Corporate) and Dr. Gunnar Knorr (Tax).

Oppenhoff most recently advised Schoofs on the sale of a local shopping centre in Montabaur to Greenman, in the sale of the prestige project "Fünf-Häuser-Quartier" Dreieich near Frankfurt, the sale of the Rastal Centre in Höhr-Grenzhausen and the sale of six grocery stores.
