Oppenhoff advises Saint-Gobain on the acquisition of a majority stake in Brüggemann Holzbau
Oppenhoff has advised Compagnie de Saint-Gobain Zweigniederlassung Deutschland on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Brüggemann Holzbau Group.
Saint-Gobain is a globally active supplier of materials and solutions, amongst others used in the construction sector. In Germany, the enterprise is best known for its leading building material brands ISOVER, Rigips, Weber und Ecophon as well as for its glass production.
The family-run Brüggemann Group is a specialist for timber and modular construction in the commercial and private sector. It has more than 170 employees and is focused on ecological and energy-efficient construction and the high-tech production of sustainable timber buildings.
The Oppenhoff team, headed by Myriam Schilling, comprised Sarah Scharf, Sebastian Gutmann (all corporate / M&A), Dr. Stefanie Minzenmay, Marvin Rochner (both real estate), Dr. Gunnar Knorr (tax) and Dr. Daniel Dohrn (antitrust).
Oppenhoff has advised Saint-Gobain for several years, most recently on the acquisition of HKO Isolier- und Textiltechnik GmbH and the sale of its EPS insulation business.
