Oppenhoff advises PE investor ND Group B.V. on financing round of over 30 million euros in e.GO Mobile

Oppenhoff advised nd industrial investments B.V. on the Series B financing round of Next.e.GO Mobile SE. As majority shareholder of Next.e.GO Mobile SE, nd industrial investments B.V. took the lead in the Series B financing round. The freshly raised capital of more than 30 million euros will be invested in the start of production of the e.Go Life electric car at the Aachen plant and the further growth plans of Next.e.GO Mobile SE.

With the financing round, well-known international investors have invested in Next.eGO Mobile SE - including Moore Strategic Ventures, the private investment company of Louis M. Bacon (founder and CEO of Moore Capital Management LP), John Snow (former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury), Alejandro Agag (founder and chairman of Formula E and pioneer of electric racing) and Edward Norton (actor, writer and director), who is also co-founder of several technology companies such as CrowdRise and EDO.

Next.e.GO Mobile SE, based in Aachen, Germany, is a manufacturer of electric vehicles and sustainable mobility systems. On the RWTH Aachen Campus, 400 Next.e.GO Mobile SE employees take advantage of the network of science and business with 420 technology companies and a comprehensive research infrastructure. Production of the e.GO Life at the Aachen plant is scheduled for June 2021.

nd industrial investments B.V. is part of ND Group B.V., a private equity and holding company based in the Netherlands. The company was founded in 2008 and focuses on investments in alternative energy, fintech, health tech, industrial equipment and real estate. Oppenhoff regularly advises ND Group B.V. on venture capital investments.
