Oppenhoff advises on first add-on for Christ & Wirth Haustechnik
Oppenhoff has comprehensively advised the building technology installations specialist Christ & Wirth Haustechnik GmbH on the acquisition of Möller Klima-Kälte GmbH. It is the first add-on for Christ & Wirth Haustechnik, which is majority-owned by the Swedish Storskogen Group. Oppenhoff already advised Storskogen on the acquisition of a majority stake inChrist & Wirth in 2022 as part of a succession solution.
Founded in 2012, the Swedish Storskogen Group acquires and operates well-managed and profitable medium-sized companies with leading positions in their respective markets. Storskogen is divided into three business units: industry, services and trade. The company currently includes around 100 business units with approximately 7,000 employees operating mainly in Scandinavia, the DACH region and the UK. In October last year, the company went public on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Christ & Wirth Haustechnik was founded in 2001 and is one of the leading medium-sized providers in the field of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitary engineering in the Rhine-Main area, the greater Leipzig area and Berlin.
Möller Klima-Kälte was founded in 2013 and offers installation services, especially in the field of ventilation, construction and maintenance of ventilation and air conditioning systems. The company is also active in the fields of air conditioning and cooling technology.
The Oppenhoff team led by Dr. Markus Rasner (M&A) included Dr. Nefail Berjasevic (restructuring), Anja Dombrowsky (labor law), Dr. Jonas Weise (M&A) and Marc Alexander Häger (real estate).
Oppenhoff regularly advises on add-ons of portfolio companies under private equity ownership, such as the MRH Trowe Group on the acquisition of Lurse AG or the family trust portfolio company Novia Group on the acquisition of HD sourcing solutions GmbH.
