Oppenhoff advised Hardt Holding on sale of Advenius

Oppenhoff has advised Hardt Holding GmbH on the sale of Advenius GmbH to the ATTIKON Group. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Advenius, based in Königstein im Taunus, was founded by Marco Hardt, who is still managing director today. Under his leadership, the owner-managed brokerage firm has continued to grow steadily and is now a highly specialised insurance broker for both corporate and private clients. Advenius has particular expertise in managing institutional investors and commercial real estate. In the future, Advenius will be strategically developed under the umbrella of ATTIKON Finanz AG.

The current managing director Marco Hardt will continue to serve as managing director after the sale: “We see great opportunities in this strategic step. With the strength of the ATTIKON Group, we will be able to offer our clients even better insurance solutions, innovative products and more efficient processes in the future. Our team is highly motivated and looks forward to shaping the next stage of our growth together with ATTIKON. The prospects are excellent.”

The Oppenhoff team, led by Dr. Gregor Seikel, comprised Johanna Matheis (both M&A/Corporate), Marc Krischer, Daniel Gellrich, Jan Keesen (all Tax), Jörn Kuhn, Anja Dombrowsky, Moritz Coché and Lisa Striegler (all Employment).

Oppenhoff regularly advises on transactions in the insurance sector, most recently the VHV Group on the acquisition of the InterEurope Group and the acquisition of the Eucon Group. Additionally, Oppenhoff has been actively supporting the consolidation of the German brokerage market for several years, most recently advising the MRH Trowe Group on the acquisition of the Lurse Group, as well as the founding shareholders of MRH Trowe and their shareholder AnaCap on the acquisition of a minority stake by TA Associates.
