Oppenhoff advises DISA Global Solutions on the acquisition of SIGNUM Consulting

Oppenhoff has advised the US company DISA Global Solutions, a leading provider of services in the employee-screening and compliance sectors, on the acquisition of all shares in SIGNUM Consulting. With this first international acquisition, DISA Global Solutions is pursuing its international growth strategy. DISA now offers background checks in 145 countries.

DISA was founded in Houston, Texas, in 1986 and offers services concerning personnel selection and compliance with regulations. DISA assists employers in reaching sound personnel decisions and ensures a high degree of security in the workplace.

SIGNUM Consulting was founded in 1998 and supports internationally oriented large and medium-sized companies in the areas pre-employment screening and risk/compliance management in more than 100 countries.

The Oppenhoff team, led by Dr. Markus Rasner, included Marcel Markovic (both Private Equity), Anja Dombrowsky (Employment), Dr. Jürgen Hartung (IT and Data Protection), Dr. Wolfgang Kotzur (Financing) and Dr. Gunnar Knorr (Tax).

Oppenhoff regularly advises US companies on the implementation of their international M&A strategy, for example, Mobileum on the acquisition of SIGOS, SDC Technologies on the takeover of COTEC and Simpson Technologies on the acquisition of Webac Maschinenbau
