Oppenhoff advises Bayer on acquisition of HiDoc Technologies
Oppenhoff has advised Bayer AG on the acquisition of HiDoc Technologies GmbH. With the strategic acquisition of HiDoc Technologies planned for Q1 2025, Bayer is expanding its portfolio in the field of digital health and further expanding its involvement in the area of self-medication.
In September 2024, HiDoc Technologies filed for the opening of insolvency proceedings under self-administration. Following the opening of proceedings, an investor agreement was concluded for Bayer’s takeover of HiDoc Technologies by means of an insolvency plan. The voting on the insolvency plan is scheduled for January 2025.
Bayer is a global company with core competences in the life science areas of health and nutrition. HiDoc Technologies is an innovative digital health company based in Hamburg that specialises in the development and provision of digital health solutions.
