New partner for Frankfurt: Oppenhoff strengthens corporate team with Dr. Barnim von den Steinen
Oppenhoff gains Dr. Barnim von den Steinen as a new corporate partner for the Frankfurt office. He transferred from Rotthege on 1 March 2024.
Barnim von den Steinen (46) primarily advises on corporate transactions and complex corporate law issues, structural measures and processes. Recently, for example, the automotive supplier stoba Holding and the Adenauer & Co. Group have relied on the corporate expert for transactions, reorganisations and compliance projects. Von den Steinen played a key role in expanding the corporate practice of Rotthege's Düsseldorf office from 2016.
With his move to the Main, he is also returning to the starting point of his career: Von den Steinen began his career as a lawyer in Frankfurt in 2008 and most recently worked in the area at SZA Schilling Zutt & Anschütz. Von den Steinen is also a lecturer in business law at Wiesbaden Business School.
The firm’s chairwoman Myriam Baars-Schilling commented: "We are delighted to have our Frankfurt office and the corporate team strengthened at the start of the year by Barnim von den Steinen. With him, we are gaining an experienced lawyer who has built up an impressive client portfolio over recent years, particularly in the ranks of large medium-sized companies."
Dr. Barnim von den Steinen remarked: "I am delighted to become part of the Oppenhoff team and to be able to provide clients with comprehensive advice on complex transactions on the one hand and to advise on an ongoing basis with the firm's full service on the other."
