JUVE Awards 2024: Oppenhoff honoured as "Law Firm of the Year for Succession, Wealth and Foundations"
At this year's JUVE Awards, Oppenhoff was honoured as "Law Firm of the Year for Succession, Wealth and Foundations" for the second time since 2021. The recognition honours the outstanding expertise of the team led by Dr. Axel Wenzel and Dr. Gregor Seikel in this area. In the JUVE Handbook 2024/2025, the editorial team describes the succession practice as "one of the most complete on the market". It goes on to say: "Its ever broader experience makes it a sought-after partner for newly emerging topics, such as the increasing number of foreign contexts".
In the new ranking, Oppenhoff continues to be among the top 50 law firms in Germany and is represented for the first time in the ranking for the energy sector in the deals/financing/projects category. This development emphasises the law firm's continuous growth in important future fields.
In addition, Stephan Müller was once again recognised as a leading expert in foreign trade law and Carmen Schneider as a rising star in energy law.
Firm chairwoman Myriam Baars-Schilling stated: "The awards emphasise what makes us and our advice special: our full commitment to actively shaping our clients’ transformation challenges and future topics, thus constantly driving change forward."
The JUVE Handbook is based on intensive research by around 30 editors who, among other things, conducted over 7,000 interviews with lawyers and clients and analysed almost 3,500 questionnaires.
