JUVE Awards 2021: Oppenhoff Law Firm of the Year for Company/Succession/Trusts

Oppenhoff has been named Law Firm of the Year for the area of Company/Succession/Trusts at this year's JUVE Awards. This is in recognition of the outstanding development of the practice and the team led by Dr. Axel Wenzel. Oppenhoff was also nominated in no less than three categories this year: Compliance, Media & Technology and Law Firm of the Year.

Dr. Axel Wenzel, head of the Company/Succession/Trusts practice group, commented: "We are delighted to have been named Law Firm of the Year for Company/Succession/Trusts. The practice group had recently expanded significantly through the addition of the two partners Dr. h.c. Hans-Joachim Otto and Dr. Sebastian Zeeck.

Oppenhoff recommended law firm for dispute resolution

For the first time in the 2021/2022 JUVE Handbook, Oppenhoff is among the recommended law firms in the field of Conflict Resolution/Litigation. The practice group, led by Dr. Vanessa Pickenpack, has further increased its strength through the addition of its Frankfurt partner Dr. Michael Weigel and his team. Together with the antitrust team, the litigation practice has already been representing clients in major antitrust damage proceedings for several years.

Ranking improved in five areas

Overall, Oppenhoff has once again made a strong improvement in its ranking. The rankings in the areas of Employment Law, M&A and Private Equity as well as in the regional rankings for Cologne and Frankfurt have significantly improved.

Recently, WirtschaftsWoche listed Oppenhoff as one of the top law firms in the fields of data protection and information technology, antitrust law, public procurement law and real estate law. In the recently published in-house lawyer survey Kanzleimonitor 2021/2022, Oppenhoff occupies an excellent 4th place in the overall ranking and is recommended in a total of 22 fields of law. Almost half of Oppenhoff’s lawyers were named Best Lawyer in Germany 2022.
