Oppenhoff & Partner advises Zurich on the takeover of Insurtech dentolo
Oppenhoff & Partner has advised the Zurich Group Germany on the assumption of 100 percent of the shares in the Berlin startup dentolo Deutschland GmbH for its direct insurer DA Direkt.
The takeover will give DA Direkt access to a dental technology platform with a network of over 500 dentists. In cooperation with the Insurtech company, DA Direkt will offer innovative insurance solutions and services for all aspects of dental care. The dentolo founders Philipp Krause and Julian Benning will remain in the management of the company.
Oppenhoff has many years of experience in advising strategic investors, financial investors and founders in the area of private equity and venture capital. Clients most recently advised by Dr. Peter Etzbach's team include the front-end developer Sevenval on the takeover by the investment company Oaktree Capital, Bauwens digital on investments in various startups in the field of digital real estate and Insurtech CyberDirekt, which is active in the area of the online brokerage of cyber insurance, on a financing round.
