Marko Vraetz

Experience

Marko Vraetz advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of individual and collective labour law. His work includes in particular the drafting, implementation and termination of employment and service contracts. Marko Vraetz also advises companies on issues relating to the contractual arrangements for deploying external personnel (freelancers, outsourcing, contracts for work and services) and on procedures for determining social security status.

Marko Vraetz is a member of the Latin America Desk at Oppenhoff.

 

Education

Marko Vraetz has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2023. He studied law at the University of Bonn, specialising in labour law. He then worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Labour Law and Social Security Law at the University of Bonn, where he is currently completing his doctorate on a topic relating to social security law and platform work. During his legal internship, Marko Vraetz worked at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin and in the labour law department of the law firm CMS in Cologne and Madrid.

Marko Vraetz is member of the German Bar Association (DAV), the Cologne Bar Association (KAV) and the Employment Law Working Group of the German Bar Association.
