Dr. Friedrich von Bredow

Experience

Friedrich von Bredow advises on energy management law. His clients include energy suppliers, grid operators, investors, project developers, energy service providers and electricity-cost intensive companies. His main areas of expertise are energy regulatory law, energy contract law and project development in the energy sector. Friedrich von Bredow additionally has experience in the area of lease contracts for renewable energy plants.

Education

Friedrich von Bredow has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2022. He studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Leipzig, and completed his legal internship in Hamburg and Cape Town, South Africa. Friedrich von Bredow earned his doctorate in agricultural law under Prof. Dr. Martínez at the University of Göttingen and was awarded the 2021 Doctoral Prize from the German Agricultural Law Association (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Agrarrecht).

While working as a research assistant, he gained experience in private construction and architectural law at international commercial law firms.
