Experience

Franziska Katterbach advises and represents clients in the life sciences sector on all product- and service-related matters. Her practice covers in particular the entire life cycle of a product or service in the field of pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices and diagnostics: from the idea to technology transfer, research and development through to exit. A particular focus of her work is the regulatory landscape surrounding medical cannabis. Additionally, Franziska Katterbach advises on M&A transactions.

Education

Franziska Katterbach joined Oppenhoff in 2024. She studied law in Leipzig. In the course of her judicial preparation service (Referendariat) she worked, at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and the Local Court of Darmstadt, among others. Before joining Oppenhoff, she worked as a lawyer at Dentons. In addition, Franziska Katterbach served as a legal executive for two globally and traded companies. Most recently, she established and managed the European operations of Khiron Life Sciences in Europe.
