Launch of gaming and entertainment platform RUSH.GG: Oppenhoff advises Rush Entertainment on trademark law
Oppenhoff has advised the e-sports company Rush Entertainment AG on legal issues relating to the development of its brand presence, including the launch of the modern e-sports entertainment and community platform RUSH.GG. Rush Entertainment was recently founded by the managers of the agency STARK Esports GmbH.
STARK developed RUSH.GG as a novel product with unique features and launched it at the beginning of October. Work on the project began in January 2021.
RUSH.GG is to be established as a new benchmark in the gaming and e-sports genre and become the largest of its kind worldwide. The platform offers gamers diverse features in a single environment: news, creator hubs, tournaments, events and content. In the first hours after its launch, the platform already recorded over 10 million views. The recently launched series is accompanied by various high-ranking stars of the gaming and lifestyle industry and gathers some of the biggest and best-known creators in the German and English-speaking regions. RUSH already offers hubs in the DACH region, as well as in India and Indonesia. Many other markets will follow by the end of the year.
STARK is one of the best-known e-sports agencies in Europe. It was founded in 2015 by former professional gamers and now employs over 60 people at five locations worldwide. STARK's service portfolio includes consulting, production, marketing and organisation of e-sports and gaming events. Own teams and other technology products are also part of the 360-degree agency approach.
The Oppenhoff team comprised Dr Fee Mäder and Caterina Hanke (both trademark law).
