AI Act – Requirements, implementation steps for companies and tools to support the implementation process
We cordially invite you to attend our online lunch lecture on the topic of “Unlocking the EU‘s AI Act: How companies can implement the EU’s new AI regulatory framework” on
April 1, 2025 at 12:30 - 1:30 PM (CET).
The AI Act is there! Starting in February 2025, companies must comply with first requirements under the new legislation regulating the use of AI in the EU. Companies must then implement the AI Act requirements step by step by August 2026. Dr. Marc Hilber, Valentino Halim and Dr. Axel Grätz discuss the AI Act’s scope of application, regulatory approach and essential requirements.
The webinar also presents next steps and approaches that companies should take to prepare for the new regulatory framework when using AI in practice. For this purpose, Guy Schneider from DSG.AI will be presenting the company’s GRC platform for AI. DSG.AI supports companies in implementing AI-related standards fostering to implement the AI Act requirements.

Marc Hilber is specialised in advising companies on technology related transactions, and in particular on joint ventures as well as outsourcing and software development projects. He advises on contract drafting in the areas aerospace & defence, outsourcing and cloud computing, in software projects, e-commerce matters and on digitisation law, including AI, data privacy law and cybersecurity.

Valentino Halim advises and represents international and national companies on questions concerning European and German digital and information technology law, including data protection and IT security law.
His work includes advising on data privacy issues, including proceedings with the authorities and courts, above all advising companies on their defence against fines and damage claims due to breaches of data protection and the response to data leaks. He has particular expertise in the area of digital business models, social networks and online platforms.
Axel Grätz advises and represents national and international companies in all matters of IT and data privacy law as well as e-commerce.
He has special knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular in the legal appraisal of processes in connection with artificial neural networks, machine learning and expert systems. Axel Grätz also has an indepth knowledge of intellectual property law.
